Destroyer Escorts

The Edsall class destroyer escort USS Brister (DE-327) is shown in a photo in Norfolk on July 26, 1944 wearing camouflage 32/3D. Brister has four single 40mm AA guns in tubs replacing the torpedo tubes and the short mainmast with HF/DF antenna.
