A July 19, 1944 letter #02098 from CinCLant requested BuShips to paint all Atlantic Fleet destroyers in camouflage 32/3D during each ship's next shipyard overhaul.
USS Quick (DD-490) wearing camouflage 32/3D in the Atlantic. This photo was marked as received on March 18, 1945, so was probably taken in February 1945. Quick was converted to DMS-32 effective June 23, 1945, and sent to the Pacific. Photo source: NARA 80-G-313940.
