LSV-5 was painted in a version of 31/18L in New York before 6/14/44. The camouflage was adapted and drawn by Cmdr. George C. Evans, the District Camouflage Officer at New York, the drawings were sent to Bureau of Ships on 5/23/44, but have not yet been found in the archives.
