   USS Morrison (DD-560) is seen on the right on October 25, 1944.  Morrison is being aided and towed by another unidentified Fletcher class destroyer, probably USS Irwin (DD-794).  On the day before Morrison had been fighting fires and rescuing survivors from the light carrier USS Princeton (CVL-23) causing damage and the loss of the mast.  This photo was taken from USS Sargent Bay (CVE-83).  Photo source: NARA 80-G-263829.
